Elks National Foundation, ʺ3 P’s of Alcoholʺ and ʺHigh Expectations”

March 15, 2017 Livermore, CA

The third day of my California Elks National Foundation tour, I will be presenting for three 60 minute presentations to students from Joe Mitchell Middle school, East Ave school, and Mendenhall High school. We will discuss the dangers and impacts that alcohol and marijuana have on our bodies and minds. We will also have a hands-on demonstration with students wearing the “fatal vision” goggles which simulate the feeling of intoxication so they can “walk the line” among their peers. I look forward to a great day enlightening the students and answering some great questions. Then this evening I will be conducting a 60-minute community training in which we will discuss how to talk to youth about alcohol and marijuana. This training will be held at the Livermore- Pleasanton Elks Lodge # 2117 and is open to all Elks and community members. This tour is sponsored by the Elks National Foundation.

Thanks for having us!
