The third day of my tour I presented for two 60 minute presentations to students at Goff and Slater Junior High schools. We discussed the dangers associated with alcohol, tobacco and marijuana use and the impact it has on your body. My presentation included the “3 P’s of Alcohol” “Removing the Smoke Screen” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana.” We also had a hands-on demonstration with students wearing the fatal vision glasses which simulates the feeling of intoxication among their peers. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
