Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP) – California

March 18, 2016

The last day of my tour, I presented for two 60 minute presentations to Concord High school students grades 9-12. We discussed the dangers associated with alcohol, marijuana and tobacco and the impacts it has on the body. I had students demonstrate the fatal vision glasses which simulates the feeling of intoxication and “walk the line” in front of their peers. I enjoyed their questions and being able to bring my knowledge and humor on these subjects to the stage. My hope is that I educated these students so that they may carry the message to their peers and family members. This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
