The second day of the Elks DAP Alaska tour and I presented three 45 minute presentations to students at West High school, Eagle High school and Begich Middle school. We discussed three of my favorite subjects the “3 P’s of Alcohol” the “High Expectations of Marijuana” and “Clearing the Air” which discusses the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on our bodies and minds. I brought my humor and knowledge to the stage in the hope that these students will carry the message to their peers. Then this evening I conducted a 60 minute adult training in which we discussed addiction and how to talk to youth about drugs and alcohol. This training was open to Elks members, parents and community members. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
