PRIDE Youth Programs, “3 P’s of Alcohol”, “Removing the Smoke Screen” and “High Expectations of Marijuana”

The second day of my training, I presented six 60 minute presentations to 7th and 8th graders in El Dorado, Arkansas. My presentations included “Removing the Smokescreen,” the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and “High Expectations of Marijuana.” We discussed the dangers and impacts that are caused by tobacco, alcohol and marijuana use. We also had a hands on demonstration with students wearing the “fatal vision” glasses which simulate the feeling of intoxication. We had some great questions.
