Today I presented two 60 minute presentations to students at Lewiston High School and Asotin High School. We discussed the “High Expectations of Marijuana” which focuses on the danger and impacts of marijuana use. I broughtmy humor and knowledge to the stage in the hope that these students will carry the message to their peers. Then this evening I conducted a parent training in which we discussed addiction and how to talk to adolescents about substance use but don’t know how to get started. This training was open to all parents, teachers, counselors and community members and anyone who wished to get help but does not know how to get started.
