I had an exhilarating experience as the opening and closing presenter at a full-day teen summit for over 1,000 students in Huntsville, Arkansas. The students, who were just days away from their 8th-grade graduation, brought an infectious energy and excitement to the event. We delved into the dangers of vaping and the serious risks associated with opioid use, capturing their attention and sparking thoughtful questions and discussions. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and engagement, and I left feeling confident that these future high schoolers are better prepared to make informed, healthy choices.
