This evening I attended the Elks Association Law Enforcement and Firefighters Appreciation Dinner. I was able to discuss the history of the Enrique Camanera Award sponsored by the National Elks Association. This award recognizes and honors law enforcement officers who have made a significant contribution in the field of drug prevention and who personify Agent Camarena’s belief that one person can make a difference.
