The third day of the Elks DAP Florida tour I presented three 45 minute presentations to students at Yearling Middle School and Osceola Middle School. We discussed the “High Expectations of Marijuana” and “Removing the Smokescreen” which includes a discussion on tobacco, marijuana and vaping and the dangers and impacts it has on our bodies and minds. We had some great questions from the students. Then this evening I conducted a 60 minute presentation were we will discuss how to talk to youth about alcohol and marijuana but don’t know how to get started. This training was designed for parents, teachers, Elks members and family members. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
Thanks for having us!
