This morning I spoke to Estherville Elementary and Estherville High school students for two 60 minute presentations on the dangers associated with tobacco, alcohol and marijuana use and the impact it has on their bodies. We discussed “Removing the SmokeScreen” the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and “High Expectations of Marijuana.” Students demonstrated the “fatal vision” goggles, and “walked the line” among their peers. Then, in the afternoon, I presented two 45-minute presentations to the students at Spirit Lake High School on the dangers associated with marijuana use and the impact it has on our body. I have many facts about the subject and I always look forward to the student’s great questions.
