Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP) – California

March 17, 2016

The third day of my tour, I presented for three 45 minute presentations to students at Pittsburg and Black Diamond High school. We discussed the dangers associated with alcohol, tobacco and marijuana use and the impact it has on your body. My presentation includedthe “3 P’s of Alcohol” “Removing the Smoke Screen” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana”. I brought my knowledge and humor to the stage to educate these students and we had a hands on demonstration with students wearing the fatal vision glasses which simulates the feeling of intoxication among their peers. In the evening, I spoke for a 30 minute presentation on the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana open to parents, grandparents and relatives held at the Walnut Creek Elks lodge #1811. This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
