The last day of the Elks DAP Iowa tour, I presented three 45 minute presentations to the students from Emmetsburg Middle school, Graettinger High school and Estherville High school. We discussed the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on the body. We also discussed the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and my favorite subject the “High Expectations of Marijuana.” I had students demonstrate the “fatal vision goggles” which simulates the feeling of intoxication and “walk the line” among their peers. This tour was sponsored by the Elks National Foundation.
