The third day of my Elks DAP West Virginia tour I presented two 45 minute presentations to students from WI Middle School and one 60 minute presentation with a Q & A session afterwards to students from Robert C. Byrd High School. We discussed “Clearing the Air ” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana” two of my favorite subjects. At noon I was interviewed live on WDTV discussing the Elks Drug Awareness Program. Then this evening I conducted a 90 minute community training on how to talk to adolescents about alcohol and substance use but don’t know how to get started. This training was open to the public and is designed for parents, counselors, teachers church members, family members, Elks members and whomever feels they need help. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
