Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP), ʺ3 P’s of Alcoholʺ,ʺ Removing the Smoke Screenʺ and ʺHigh Expectations”

March 6, 2017 Petaluma, CA

The first day of my Petaluma, California Elks Drug Awareness Program (DAP) tour, I will be presenting for three 45 minute presentations to the students at St Vincent High school, Tech Middle and Tech High school and Rancho Cotate High school. We will be discussing two of my favorite subjects the ʺ3 P’s of Alcoholʺ and ʺHigh Expectations of Marijuana.” In this discussion, we will talk about the dangers and impacts that alcohol, marijuana and prescription drugs have on our bodies and minds. I will bring my knowledge and humor to the stage to educate these students. We will also have a hands-on demonstration with students wearing the “fatal vision” goggles which simulate the feeling of intoxication so they can “walk the line” among their peers. What a fun day we will have! Then this evening I will be conducting a 30-minute parent training located at the Petaluma Elks Lodge # 901. We will discuss how to talk to youth about alcohol and marijuana use. This training is open to the community and Elks members, parents, grandparents and teachers. Hope to see you there. This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
