My second day of the Elks DAP Florida tour. I presented two 60-minute presentations to students from the Academy High School, and Punta Gorda High School. We discussed the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and “High Expectations of Marijuana,” which focused on the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on our bodies. Students asked many questions and we demonstrated the “fatal vision” goggles while “walking-the-line” among their peers. After the two high school sessions, I presented at a luncheon located at Punta Gorda Isles Yacht Club for community leaders and members. We discussed marijuana and addiction. It was a great afternoon! This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
