Chino USD Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Program – California

January 8, 2016

I presented for five 60 minute presentations to students at Ruben S. Ayala High school through their physical education classes. We discussed the dangers associated with alcohol, tobacco and marijuana use and the impact it has on your body. My presentation included the “3 P’s of Alcohol” “Removing the Smoke Screen” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana”. I brought my knowledge and humor to the classroom to educate these students and we had a hands on demonstration with students wearing the fatal vision glasses which simulates the feeling of intoxication. We also had a recovery speaker guest who shared her recovery story with the students.

It was a fun day!
