The fourth day of the Elks DAP Alaska tour I presented one 90 minute presentation and one 45 minute presentation for the students from the Alaska Youth Academy and Service High school. We discussed the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana” which discusses the dangers associated with use and the impacts it has on our bodies and minds. We had some great questions from the students.Then this evening I conducted a 60 minute adult training in which we discussed addiction and how to talk to youth about drugs and alcohol. This training was open to Elks members, parents and community members. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
