Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP), ʺClearing the Airʺ and ʺRemoving the Smokescreen”

April 3, 2019 Niceville, Gulf Breeze, FL

The third day of the Elks DAP Florida tour I presented one 60 minute presentation for adults at Twin Cities hospital. We discussed addiction among our youth and how to discuss this with our children. Then I conducted one 45 minute presentation to students from Northwest Collegiate High School in which we discussed “Clearing the Air” and “Removing the Smokescreen” which included a discussion on tobacco and vaping and the dangers and impacts it has on our bodies and minds. We had some great questions from the students. Then this evening I conducted a 60 minute presentation for Elks members and parents at the Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge # 497. We discussed how to talk to youth about alcohol and marijuana but don’t know how to get started. This training was designed for Elks members, parents and community members. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).

Thanks for having us!
