Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP), ʺ3 P’s of Alcohol,” ʺHigh Expectations of Marijuana” and ” Removing the Smokescreen”

October 17, 2017 Shenandoah, IA

The second day of my Elks DAP Iowa tour, I presented three 45 minute presentations to the students from Shenandoah High school, Shenandoah Middle school and Shenandoah Elementary school. We discussed three of my favorite subjects the ʺ3 P’s of Alcohol,” ʺHigh Expectations of Marijuana” and ” Removing the Smokescreen.” In this discussion we talked about the dangers and impacts that alcohol, marijuana and tobacco has on our bodies and minds. We also had a hands on demonstration with students wearing the “fatal vision” goggles which simulates the feeling of intoxication so they can “walk the line” among their peers. I had some great questions! This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).

Thanks for having us!
