Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP), ʺ3 P’s of Alcoholʺ and ʺHigh Expectations of Marijuana”

December 5, 2017 Riverside, La Grange and Brookfield, IL

The second day of the Elks DAP Illinois tour I presented two 45 minute presentations to students from Riverside Brookfield High school and Highland Middle school. We discussed the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and the “High Expectations of Marijuana” which focuses on the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on our bodies and minds. Students asked questions and were able to demonstrate the “fatal vision” goggles which simulates the feeling of intoxication. Then this evening I conducted a 60 minute community presentation in which we discussed how to talk to youth about alcohol and marijuana. This training was open to all Elks members, police officers, parents and community members. This tour was sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
