Elks Association Drug Awareness Program (DAP), ʺ3 P’s of Alcoholʺ, ʺHigh Expectations” and “Drug and Substance”

October 3, 2017 Clarksburg, Shinnston, WV

My second day of the Elks West Virginia DAP tour I presented three 45 minute presentations to students at United High school, Lincoln Middle and High schools. We discussed the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and “High Expectations of Marijuana” which focuses on the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on our bodies. Students asked questions and we demonstrated the “fatal vision” goggles and walk the line among their peers. This evening I conducted a 60 minute presentation where we discussed “Drugs and Substance” which included a discussion on hard drugs and prescription drugs and how to talk to adolescents about substance use but don’t know how to get started. This training was open to the public and was designed for parents, teachers, Elks members, counselors, family members and whomever feels they need help. This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
