October 18, 2016 Burlington, IA

My second day of the Elks Iowa DAP tour I will be presenting for four 60 minute presentations to students at Aldo Leopold High school and Edward Stone Middle school. We will discuss the “3 P’s of Alcohol” and “High Expectations of Marijuana” which focuses on the dangers associated with alcohol and marijuana use and the impacts it has on our bodies. Students can ask questions and demonstrate the “fatal vision” goggles and walk the line among their peers. This evening I will be conducting a 90 minute presentation called “Drug Talk 101”.Want to talk to your kids about drugs but don’t know what to say? Learn positive conversation starters, drug information, along with some developmental assets that need to be instilled in all kids to help them be better equipped to make healthy lifestyle choices. This workshop is based on the word PARENT and is open to the public and is designed for parents, counselors, church members, family members and whomever feels needs help. This tour is sponsored by the Elks Association State Drug Awareness Program (DAP).
